Users can view Salesforce Files in the Axsy Mobile App. There are two primary ways to view Files in the app: 

  • In the Files option from the main menu.
  • As a related record of a parent object record.


Synced files are available to be viewed even when the user is offline. A file will be synced either because it is included during initial sync as defined by the sync configuration in the Axsy Config Tool, or because it was viewed online and subsequently cached for offline viewing.

NOTE: When files are deleted on the Salesforce Platform, either a manual or scheduled sync needs to occur in the Axsy Mobile App for the changes to be reflected. As an exception, files deleted that fall under the 'Owned by Me' or 'Shared with Me' libraries of the main menu Files option require logging out and back into the app for those changes to be reflected.



View Files from the Files Option of the Main Menu

  1. Navigate to the main menu and select the Files option
  2. Select a list view and then, if applicable, select a library
  3. Select the file to view

View Files in the Related Tab of a Record

  1. Navigate to the Related tab of a record and select Files. 
  2. Select the file to view.

NOTE: The Files related list needs to be on the page layout of the target object for that related list to appear in the Axsy App. Conversely, even if on the page layout for the target object, files are not viewable from the Notes and Attachments related list.
