The Axsy Mobile App supports geo-tagging a user's location at the moment they start a Visit or end a Visit.
Configure the Visit Page Layout on the Salesforce Platform
- Add the Actual Start Location and Actual End Location fields to the Visit Page Layout on the Salesforce Platform.
- When logging in to the Axsy Mobile App, select Allow While Using App if prompted to choose Location Services settings.
NOTE: If Location Services for the Axsy app are disallowed, the Actual Start Location and Actual End Location fields will remain blank after the end of the Visit.
Start and End a Visit in the Axsy App
When Start Visit is selected at the beginning of the Visit, the Actual Start Location field will be populated in Salesforce with the geo-location coordinates of the user. The same will be populated in the Actual End Location field for the Visit when the user selects End Visit.
NOTE: Geo-Tagging is still available when working offline as long as Location Services have been enabled and the device natively support offline Location Services. Geo-location coordinates will be synced to Salesforce as soon as an internet/data connection is made available to the device.
